Cancelled remaining speech pathology appointments today: last week’s allergy tests showed that no amount of speech therapy is going to cure Muscle Tension Dysphonia until my allergies (specifically the allergic rhinitis) get under control. No singing for me, and not much talking :(

Listening to John Rutter’s Requiem for the first time in a long time (almost bought it on CD last night but decided to listen via Rhapsody today instead). Forgot how gorgeous it is, and how sad it is.
Sad that mom is leaving today (I can’t even say bye, I’m at work!) but hopes her and Graham had a good time today.
An awesome get-together with friends and mom with sausage bread, horseshoes, homemade ice cream, Outburst and Taboo. More to come tomorrow in Long Island.

Steve Vai is releasing a Blu-Ray version of the amazing concert DVD he just released (from a tour that Graham and I saw where he played with violinists and Bryan Beller on bass), and the I just pre-ordered it!
