My call to Tech News Today about AT&Ts ridiculous 200mb data plan made the show at about 32:00. http://twit.tv/tnt46

This is where you see what I'm listening to, what I'm blogging about, what sites I like, and photos I've taken. One stop shopping from the brain of me.
Having a nice slice of pizza in Tarrytown, NY; about to see Zappa Plays Zappa for the 6th time.
Just had an ergonomic eval at my new workstation. So cool to be at a place that is proactive on this subject!
Last night, The Girl With the Dragon Tattoo became the 2nd or 3rd movie I’ve ever willingly paid full price to see twice in the theater. This time Lisa saw it too!
After seeing Girl with the Dragon Tattoo in the theater, I immediately got books one and two via Audible.com. The timing worked out that book three came out just a couple of days after I finished book two and I’ve dived right in. These books are awesome but there is something that’s making me giggle: in the audiobook, the words “coffee” and/or “sandwich” are spoken at least once every ten minutes. Everyone is always drinking, smelling or making coffee, usually while eating a sandwich. It’s getting to the point where they are investigating a murder or having a press conference or whatever and I’m outside of the book a little thinking, “wait for it…wait for it,” and then someone makes or smells coffee and I’m like “YES!” ;)
Law and Order cancelled (http://ping.fm/WKp57) Which is funny, because I figured they’d fill the Leno Prime Time Hole with five new Law and Orders. CHUN-CHUN.
AT&T will not let us give Graham the phone we bought from them. They say it’s tied to my line only unless we pay $30 a month. In other news, AT&T sucks. Trouble is, all the other carriers do, too :(
The new Rhapsody app for iPhone lets you download music, not just stream it. This is HUGE and I hope it gets the tech media coverage it deserves.
A couple of Dilbert strips you won’t see in the newspaper. Awesomeness. http://ping.fm/nIC6Y
Get new Frank Zappa CD in mail. Rip CD to MP3 and Flac. Forget to put on portable for today’s listening. Wat do? Listen to Captain Beefheart all day.
Off to Graham’s NYSSMA performance, where he is going to rock some Mozart in front of a judge.
Latest Zappa release (original mix of Cruisin’ w/Ruben & The Jets) has been pre-ordered. http://ping.fm/arsWo
Neil Young’s “Cowgirl in the Sand” just gave me goosebumps, despite having heard it dozens of times. Neil just does that to you once in a while, you know? Might have to listen to Pocahontas now.
Today’s thought: it’s easy to GET old…all you have to do is wake up in the morning. It’s BEING old that’s tough.
